Click Start London

Click Start is a free 4-week digital skills course for young NEET (not employer, in education, or training) Londoners, aged 18-30 years, who want a job or apprenticeship in the digital realm. Our in-person course provides training in the fundamentals of digital marketing, social media management, business ownership, client- and customer-facing skills, and data analysis. What sets us apart from other courses is our commitment to hands-on experiences. Each week, our learners shadow a marketing expert and collaboratively aid their clients to adopt new technologies and solve their digital challenges. In addition, our learners develop their original business ideas and pitch them during a 'dragon den'-style event at the end of the programme. Throughout the programme, learners have the opportunity to explore pathways into digital careers and apprenticeships with industry-leading companies, including Amazon, BT Group, Cisco and QA. Moreover, our experienced career coaches guide them in improving CVs, cover letters, and interview techniques and in building up confidence and professional work skills. Since 2023, we support over 100 learners across East London, and we are looking forward to be expanding our teaching across other corners of the city.
