We use Internet of Things (IoT) technology, machine learning, artificial intelligence, distributed computing, blockchain, and smart contracts to capture and analyze data, extract accurate and relevant information, and promote sustainability and the circular economy. This helps companies and public institutions streamline processes, make informed decisions that align with their long-term sustainability goals, and gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace. We develop our activities along two lines:(i) Data intelligence systems based on the IoT, edge computing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence for sensor systems for air quality monitoring, and digital twins for cooling and climate control, climate change, and food production and preservation; and (ii) The intersection of the Internet and computing for sustainability, such as digital product passport systems, blockchains, decentralized identifiers (DID), and verifiable credentials (VC).
