CoAbode’s platform matches single moms, in neighborhoods across the country to share a home, creating dual-income households, with financial gains for each mom (~$19k per mom), supports wellness for single-parent women and their children by attending to the most significant stressors of their lives: economic and time and task overload. With increased financial resources resulting from reduced costs of shared housing and childcare, single mothers can invest in themselves and their children by pursuing further education, buying real estate and starting college funds. When you speak to women with children, their main focus is on housing, safety, education, medical and environmental issues. These are community issues.
