Coding In Color

Coding in Color is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to develop the future digital workforce through digital skilling, computer science and artificial intelligence education in Arizona. Our vision is to ensure every student in Arizona has access to a computer science, AI, or a technical education. In an era where technology pervades every facet of our lives, there exists a substantial demand for skilled computing professionals which translates into a wealth of opportunities, job security, competitive compensation, and access to benefits. Coding in Color has partnered with organizations, community colleges and K-12 schools to deliver computer science and artificial intelligence education to students throughout Arizona. Our services include: 1) Workshops: 1-2 hour events that gets students excited about computing with a simple project. 2) Hackathons: 6-12 hour events where students are introduced to computing and build a more in-depth project (I.e mobile app, web app, game, robots, algorithms) 3) Summer Camps: Week-long camps where students are exposed to a breadth of topics spanning from electricity, circuits, sensors, data science, ai, robotics and more. 4) Computer Science Courses: Semester to year-long courses for K-12 students. Courses are offered both after school and for-credit in-school options. Courses compliant with AZ CS Standards. 5) AI Courses (Students and Teachers): 12 week AI courses in partnership with schools and districts to support student and teacher AI fluency. The course covers the technical elements of AI to understand how AI models are developed.
