Collective Acting Studio

At Collective, we believe that our society is unfair, and that many of its key institutions are structured in ways that advantage certain groups over others. We strive to make our society a fairer place by providing access to the highest quality training for actors from underrepresented groups, particularly in terms of ethnicity, disability and class. We aim to show leadership in making the performing arts an industry that better reflects the rich diversity of the UK by training the actors, story-tellers and artistic leaders of the future who – through the stories they will go on to tell – can help reshape our cultural and social consciousness. Our values are founded on the principles of diversity, accessibility, inclusion, community and autonomy. Actors who are part of the Collective have gone on to work in Hollywood films, on Broadway, for the National Theatre, in the West End and in titles for Netflix, Apple TV, HBO, BBC, ITV and Channel 4.
