Common Cathedral

The mission of common cathedral is to build community with and provide spiritual care to unhoused individuals in Boston, and to bridge the gap between housed and unhoused people. Having recently celebrated 25 years of living out this mission, the Board of common cathedral is seeking a dynamic leader to provide exceptional oversight of current programs, sustain the short- and long-term goals for the organization, and create additional opportunities for the organization to thrive. common cathedral (Ecclesia Ministries, Inc.) is part of a national and international network of outdoor congregations. Every Sunday for 25 years, no matter the weather or circumstance, the common cathedral congregation has worshipped on the Boston Common. Throughout the week, housed and unhoused people come together sharing God's love through community, pastoral care, creative expression, and being present to one another. We welcome and support all people. common cathedral serves as an important community for people experiencing homelessness, and for faith communities who want to be in a supportive relationship with unhoused individuals and their friends.
