In 2002 essence cosmetics was launched in Germany. Since then, essence has been achieving amazing results such as in 2007 it becomes #1 in Germany and is sold in 50 other countries and in 2013 it is the best-selling brand in Europe in the decorative cosmetics segment.* In 2004, the launch of CATRICE cosmetics in the German market and from then the presence of CATRICE, as well as its global performance, is constantly increasing. Italy has always been a key market in the world of cosmetics, and for this reason, in 2017, cosnova Group decided to closely follow the 360-degree development of essence and CATRICE by opening the Italian subsidiary: cosnova Italia.
