Couper Russ Studios Llc

Since inception, Couper Russ Studios has contributed to the developing Las Vegas art scene through exhibition curation and installation, event coordination, arts blogging, awards jurying, and art restoration, with both Matthew Couper and JK Russ also maintaining careers as practicing artists. New Zealand-born Matthew Couper holds a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts, a Diploma in Teaching and has lectured in Painting and Critical Theory. In addition to his art practice incorporating international art fairs, Couper specializes in exhibition curation, art installation and restoration. JK Russ, also originally from New Zealand, holds a Bachelor Degree in Visual Arts and has worked in publishing, graphic design, and art museum front-of-house. She was Gallery Coordinator for the Las Vegas Contemporary Arts Center,Adjunct Faculty with UNLV College of Fine Arts, Arts Programs Coordinator with the Neon Museum and has developed a program of collaborative collage workshops.
