Crownworkshop

Crownworkshop is a trauma informed, social and emotional learning experience that aims to build confidence via education around wellness, personal grooming, mental health and movement. We host intimate experiences for schools, non profits and corporations. Our goal is to improve the interpersonal communication, self efficacy and cultural competency of leaders. As learning occurs, behaviors change. OUR MISSION The mission of the Crownworkshop is to promote personal growth and build sustainable confidence.via engaging experiences and a creative space of personal development, open dialogue, and hands-on natural hair care education to empower the youth and shift perspectives. OUR APPROACH We offer custom in person and virtual experiences for individuals, schools and organizations to build confidence in men and women as they begin their wellness journey and unlearn narratives of colonialism that influence their self-image and impact workplace productivity and performance CORPPORATE ORGANIZATIONS & ADULT LEARNING Workplace Cultural Wellness: We host cultural learning and wellness team building experiences around mental health, team building, diversity, equity and inclusion around hair, diversity, equity and inclusion for organizations. Participants who attend our workshops are educated on the following topics: CONFIDENCE. COMMUNICATION SKILLS. SELF EMPOWERMENT. SELF ADVOCACY. LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. EMOTIONAL AWARENESS. HAIR CARE AND STYLING TIPS. ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAINING. PUBLIC SPEAKING. DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION SOCIAL & EMOTIONAL LEARNING. OUR IMPACT Over participants have attended Crownworkshop experiences globally in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Ghana and South Africa. We work with hair professionals, nonprofits, universities and corporates, haircare, lifestyle and wellness brands committed to advancing the conversation of wellness, women's empowerment, confidence in natural hair and decolonized beauty.
