Curovir utvecklar nya antivirala läkemedel mot enterovirus (inklusive rhinovirus) som årligen uppskattas orsaka mer än en miljard infektioner. Enterovirus orsakar vanligtvis milda infektioner så som vanlig förkylning men de kan även orsaka svåra infektioner, främst hos vissa grupper tex nyfödda barn, äldre och patienter med immunbrist eller andra underliggande sjukdomar tex astma eller kronisk obstruktiv lungsjukdom.
