CVNQuinte supports over 90+ adults who have a developmental disability. By providing individuals and their families with supports and services which are responsive to their unique talents, aspirations, and choices. CVNQuinte strives to empower people with developmental disabilities to contribute to the enrichment of the Quinte area. Recognizing that people require support to make it possible for them to exercise their citizenship, services assist individuals to become a part of, connected to, involved in, participate with, and included in, their community. Services facilitate, teach, counsel, inform, provide advice, act as a resource, coach, as well as provide direct support. This is provided without taking control of the individual, their life direction, or create a dependency.
