Did you know that- 15% of dads are the primary caregivers - Dads receive 2 weeks less time for paternity leave than Moms (if given at all)- 7 in 10 dads who owe child support earn less than $10K a year? DAD-Ease hopes to change that by offering employer and community resources to support co-equal parenting through EAPs, ERGs, Community Resource Fairs, and Awareness campaigns. DAD-Ease, LLC. is a registered, for-profit company incorporated in Florida in 2022. The President & Founder Laura Borland is a seasoned entrepreneur and Doctor of Social Work candidate (USC, May 2024) whose research and work on the healthy development of children has made her a staunch advocate for fathers seeking co-equity in parenting to improve childrearing outcomes. Our goal is to provide fathers with opportunities and solutions to remove obstacles that prevent them from fully participating in the lives of their children so that balance in parenting can be achieved. Our vision is to become the leading purveyor of father-centered solutions globally and ultimately change the narrative on stereotypes on who is better-suited for parenting to appreciating the value that each parent brings to childrearing.
