With every project, the studio focuses on narrative gameplay: designing and twisting mechanics to mirror emotional beats so gamers live the story through their own actions. Milo Kent started Dancing Ember in 2020 as a means of staying sane while recovering from a chronic health condition. Now in better health, he continues to practice entrepreneurial, production, and development skills through new projects. The studio is known in the PlayStation Dreams community for creating 20k Leagues Under the C-(a homework torture simulator) and Temporal Fuse (a first-person time-looping thriller), which was a viral hit with lifetime plays.
