DeepTok’s mission is to help students of all backgrounds successfully achieve their academic and professional goals. Our vision stems from the founders' personal experiences and those experiences of our friends, family, classmates, mentors, and mentees. For years we have witnessed personal background and geographical location limit access to the advice and resources many students need to achieve their goals. Success is too often impacted by who you know or where you live. DeepTok strives to shatter these boundaries and provide students the access they need to have life changing conversations with people who are ‘in the know’. To begin, we will have an on-going series of online interactive sessions where our guest speakers will range from current graduate students to influential people in various professions; the goal of these sessions is to provide a means for students to engage in deep interactive conversation and ask the questions that usually go unanswered for far too long.
