DeFiance Capital was founded by Arthur Cheong (Arthur0x) and is widely considered to be one of the top crypto investment firms in Asia with more than $300m combined AUM. DeFiance’s first hybrid liquid + venture fund (2020 vintage) achieved ~4x MOIC from 2020 to 2022, having made early venture investments into unicorns like dYdX (25x), Axie Infinity(250x), LayerZero (60x), and Arbitrum(52x), amongst other successful liquid investments such as Aave and Synthetix.
