Demisas pushes the standards for iron casting production in the global market since 1974 and is now one of the leading companies in European foundry industry with production facilities located on over sq m area in Bilecik and the new management center located at Istanbul. According to its growth strategy Demisas started to invest from 1990s, until today totaling more than 60 million Euros to reach an annual capacity of more than tons. As milestones of its growth challenges, Demisas started to produce refrigerator compressor parts in 1989, automotive parts in 1994 and finally since 2001 highly sophisticated security brake parts. In the meantime, in 1997 Demisas decided to reinforce its market position by going public and since then its stocks are listed in Istanbul Stock Today together with the reputation and reliability, all the well known brand names of European automotive industry, OEMs and tier 1 suppliers started to make close cooperation with Demisas to have all grades of gray and ductile iron castings including high spectrum of brake and security parts. In addition to those high prestige parts of automotive, various compressor castings for refrigerators and air conditioners are produced with a well known Demisas name on them. With compressor castings production, Demisas covers almost half of the total demand in this industry in Europe.
