Desar Group is a pioneer in developing Shumagh when established in 1997 to become the first and last Local Producer and a major supplier of high-quality Shumagh in Saudi Arabia. Further, as part of expansion plans, Desar bought a Korean Factory and transferred it to Saudi Arabia in order to increase the number of Shumagh produced. After, Desar introduced several types of Shumagh, using sophisticated weaving and finishing techniques, to the market at affordable prices, making Shumagh Desar a well-known name in the Kingdom and around the GCC.
