Dial Environmental

Dial Environmental® opened for business for the first time in 1978. In August of 1985, current owners Steve Adams and Jerry Smith purchased the company. The exploding housing market of 1986-1988 propelled the company into real estate inspections, termite certifications and many termite and carpenter ant treatments to satisfy mortgage requirements. By the end of the 80's, the company had become a household name in Northern Jersey. By 1993, the company expanded into residential and commercial contract work. The first "green" initiative began in by offering a termite baiting system over a chemical-only treatment. By the end of 2004, the company wanted to create a more environmentally friendly identity and abandoned the old rotary DPC logo to an Earth toned logo. In 2006, a new division was created, MoldCure Pro® (MCP), to treat and clear homes for mold using green solutions. In 2012, MCP’s business grew exponentially by providing victims of Hurricane Sandy with environmentally friendly mold remediation options. Consumer awareness for green treatments for mold grew and further identified the company as a true green provider. In January 2015, the business expanded with the acquisition of Lawn Watch Nature’s Pro. Because the new company operated with an environmentally green approach and had a customer base in the same counties where Dial Pest Control operated, the purchase expanded the company’s customer base and also helped the company provide more efficient and diversified services for its new green and existing green customers. In June 2015, Dial Pest Control®, Dial Lawn Watch® and Dial Moldcure Pro® became part of newly formed Dial Environmental®.
