Digging Deeper Educational Consulting is founded by two veteran teachers, Julia Berg and Sarah Mason. Our goal is to provide high-quality, authentic learning experiences for students and to support teachers in the implementation of engaging lessons that align with state and local standards and meet the needs of their students. We specialize in providing curriculum design, lesson plans, staff training, and resources related to 3 distinct areas- The implementation of the new Maryland Grades 6-7 Social Studies standards (adopted 2024)- Archaeology, Maryland’s archaeological resources, cultural heritage, and historic sites - Teaching “hard history” and social-emotional learning.
