Virginia Walker, CEO, Founder created Doctor Drives to meet the needs of patients who need don't have a family member or friend to both drive them to medical appointments, and stay with them through their procedure. This is a situation where Uber, Lyft and Taxi services cannot be used because they are app driven companies. Doctor Drives uses a reservation system. Doctor Drives was created to solve a problem for the patient who simply doesn't have family or friends who are available, due to work and other commitments. We also solve a problem for the physician who cannot allow a patient to be put into a random car with a random driver. All Doctor Drives drivers are fully vetted, background checked and local. Our wonderful drivers are neighbors driving neighbors. Physicians and surgery centers refer their patients to us because they have confidence in our service and trust our fully vetted, background checked, local drivers.
