Dosio

The history of our winery originates in the heart of the Langhe (a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2014), when in 1974 the ancient farmhouse, dating back to the mid-18th century, was transformed into a winery, giving birth to Dosio Vigneti. A contiguous vineyard surrounds the estate, located at the highest point of the Barolo designation, 500 meters above sea level, on the Serradenari hill, in the historic village of La Morra, with a stunning amphitheater of the Alps as a backdrop. The terroir and the enhancement of single-vineyard wines are at the core of the production philosophy, alongside the constant pursuit of quality, respect for traditions, and the land. 2010 marked an important change: the founding owners were succeeded by new ones, the Lanci family, who gave the company a new look while always respecting traditions and the territory. In 2023, as a testament to their love for the Langhe territory, the Agri-Wine Resort, Antica Dimora Dosio, was born following a patient and meticulous conservative restoration of the late 19th-century farmhouse adjacent to the estate. Antica Dimora Dosio aims to be a tribute to hospitality, immersing guests in the charm of this place’s history and sharing that sense of uniqueness that this territory, this hill, the cradle of our winery, represents for us.
