Duferdofin - Nucor

Duferdofin - Nucor (DN) was founded in 2008 by a joint venture between two major steel industry leaders: Duferdofin S.p.a, owned by Duferco Group, and Nucor Corporation. Headquartered in San Zeno Naviglio, DN was the landmark in Italy, Europe and North Africa for the production of beams. In 2020, Duferco reached an agreement with Nucor to fully reacquire Nucor’s share in the venture, bringing the partnership to an end. DN, with its 750 employees, had a production capacity of approximately tons per year of hot rolled long products, focused on the production of special profiles and as cast materials for forging and rolling application.
