Ecas Institute

ECAS Institute is an independent and non-partisan think-tank based in Nairobi, Kenya, focusing on bridging the nexus between research-policy-practice in Africa. Our main areas of work include environment, climate change, air quality, energy, food security, biodiversity and natural Resource governance and Africa’s external affairs. Our staff and associate experts work with and provide independent research, training, advice and practical support to governments/policymakers, businesses, academia, Non-Governmental Organisations, Civil Society Organisations, Faith-Based Organisations and communities across Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas, to enhance skills, generate data and make policies work towards sustainable development, for societal stability, guide decision-making, and achieve global goals.
