Effetto Larsen

MISSION We imagine a world in which every human being can train self and others’ awareness, developing a universal communication that goes beyond borders, culture, language and social differences. We use the body as a tool for explanation and communication, simplicity as a way of acting. Effetto Larsen was born as a theatre company, always focusing on human relationships; over the years we developed an extremely original research path, widening our horizons compared to theatre tradition and investigating through performing arts the human being and its relationships, founding elements of everyone’s lives. Our working methods, our point of view and our activities are constantly evolving. Free from any kind of constrains, we like to open up to other disciplines, places, people, relentlessly confronting the reality around us. All of our projects give participants an active role, or as part of the creative process itself or as audience. In all our activities, from performances to training, we draw the lesson from our theatrical experience: self and others’ awareness educates people on discovering a precious inner space, from which higher quality relationships can develop. We realize stage, urban and site-specific performances, workshops, training, events and conferences. Our work received attention and awards on both national and international level.
