Engineers Without Borders Sheffield

As part of EWB-UK, we want to break down the barriers of poverty and help humankind achieve sustainability through the good practice of engineering. Within Sheffield and the University we run projects based on sustainability and humanitarian themes, and run regular educational outreach events in schools. At The University of Sheffield, we’ve been pushing socially and environmentally responsible engineering up the agenda for the best part of a decade. In that time, we built wind turbines, solar panels, countless pedal power constructions and generally had a great time putting our engineering skills to good use.
