At the heart of the Estate is Englefield House, an imposing mansion with richly furnished staterooms. Sitting in 12 acres of formal gardens with woodlands and a walled kitchen garden, it is enclosed by a deer park and offers views down to our lake and across the Berkshire countryside beyond. The House and grounds have featured in numerous films and TV programmes and the wider Estate has a huge variety of buildings, landscapes and backdrops that lend themselves to film and photographic shoots. Our indoor and outdoor spaces are extremely versatile and have hosted everything from society weddings to outdoor pop concerts and team building events to classic car auctions. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standards of service as well as paying close attention to the little things, ensuring your event is a memorable one for you and your guests. In partnership with our carefully selected partners, we specialise in all aspects of corporate and private hospitality. We can offer advice and expertise on everything from team building activities to entertainment, fine dining menus to accommodation.
