The Association has the objective of advancing accident analysis principles and methodologies to enhance legal security, especially in vehicle maintenance and technical evaluation. It aims to align with European norms on accreditation, certification, and promote road traffic safety through information compilation and concept development. The Association conducts its research, shares results primarily with members, and disseminates findings publicly. It participates in international expert panels, fostering cooperation for scientific development in road traffic safety. The Association also commits to harmonizing expert training and appointments. Its duties include maintaining a member list, publishing technical documentation, collaborating with certifying bodies, addressing professional concerns, organizing annual meetings, awarding conference rights, appointing committees, and overseeing training activities.
