Eyesland optical store was founded in 2010 with a rebellious spirit and a clear objective: to offer quality eyewear at an affordable price. At that time the optical market in Iceland was dominated by few players who offered mainly high price glasses. We wanted our customer to be able to buy nice glasses and still have some money left to enjoy life and buy additional glasses for other occasions. The concept was very successful and in 2015 a second store was opened in central Reykjavík. Early this year we launched a new e-commerce store, the first one in Iceland to offer on-line prescription eyewear. Our plan is to open more stores in the future. We out emphasis on a wide range of brands. We put the pressure on us to always offer unique and fashionable eyewear and have the latest and newest fashion at each given time. We have lined ourselves with some of the more exciting brands in eyewear, there among Julbo, Aspinal of London, Vanni and many more. With the wide range and focus on the middle and higher end without losing our original objective. Our passion and drive is to increase quality of life and motivate a healthy way of living. We do that by offering specialized solutions in eyeglasses, sun- and sport glasses, a wide range of eye health products and eye-treatments. Furthermore, we work closely with our sister company Sjónlag, a leading company in laser surgery, cataract surgery and dry eye treatments. This partnership helps both companies to provide a high quality eyecare solutions with the best interests of the customers.
