Fallen Tree Exhibitions

Fallen Tree Exhibitions is the source website for current projects by Eric Wong in contemporary art, art education and new activism. It is also the home of the 4th Hotels/Motels (Unofficial Art Fair) emerging this December, 2018, in San Diego. This event, in which artists transform hotel rooms into galleries and project spaces is open to all unrepresented, contemporary artists. We are looking for sponsors for this very well attended event. Long Term: In the long term this site will provide much needed resources to art students, educators, and counselors. I am seeking an organization, that would like to establish and/or expand its existing educational programs, to include prospective undergraduate and graduate art students. I am also looking for investors. The program would serve, advanced high school, community college transfer students, MFA candidates, and individuals in academic hiatus, seeking to attend art school. This Interdisciplinary educational extensions program, which is near its completion, will provide thorough one-on-one advising, extensive resources, workshops, and the opportunity for academic representation. The goal of this program is to provide these services free, and/or at a very low cost. Fallen Tree Exhibitions: Inspired by Amos Wilson’s quote, “If we desire a better world, we must name the world we desire”, Fallen Tree Exhibitions is in part a utopian initiative that renames, reimagines, and transforms, urban forests into temporary arts, innovation, and meditation districts (AIM). The AIM, is to revitalize and transform neighborhoods in monthly phases, by way of contemporary arts programming, creative place-making, and cultural capital. The AIM initiative excites arts and community partnerships to amplify cultural and economic wealth in select regions. Creating new and interactive manifestations of exhibition and creative practice. Fallen Tree Exhibitions is an enigmatic journey to discover new art in unexpected arrangements and conditions.
