The mission to BELONG, BELIEVE, BECOME is the heart and soul of First Baptist Gainesville. Our vision is to establish pervasive hope; every street and every person. This means we need an army of ‘hope bearers’ who Belong to the kingdom and Believe in Jesus mission and Become world changers! Our process is designed to mobilize people to carry out the Great Commission Jesus gave us. “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20 Our desire is to see people LIVING the Gospel and sharing the Good News of Jesus rather than being confined to the walls of a building or classroom. Jesus wants us to follow Him and become fishers of men (Matthew 4:19), bringing the hope we have in Him to a dark and desperate world.
