Floating Solutions Consulting

Floating Solutions Consulting (FSC) is an independent, Perth-based maritime engineering consultancy founded in 2017, specialising in structural integrity, naval architecture, and marine technology. With over 500 years of combined experience across the energy, defence, and commercial maritime sectors, we bring a unique focus on the operational and sustainment phases of marine assets – where cost, risk, and performance are most acutely felt. Our grounding in the realities of life at sea sets us apart from more theoretical approaches. We deliver practical, technically credible solutions that reflect the challenges of real-world operations, not just design-stage assumptions. We support clients across the full marine asset lifecycle – from concept to decommissioning – delivering fit-for-purpose solutions that reduce cost, lower operational risk, and improve environmental performance. Our services span- Hull integrity - Marine energy and decarbonisation - Marine assurance - Naval architecture and project management Our work is especially focused on the sustainment phase, where engineering decisions have the greatest impact on safety, reliability, and long-term value.
