Lorenzo Fonzone Caccese, neapolitan luminary of surgery, driven by his Irpinian family roots and by the trust in the winemaking potential of this land, founded in 2005 the winery Fonzone in Paternopoli, with the collaboration of his sons. Located in the heart of the Taurasi areal, the hill- about thirty acres almost completely overgrown origin- has become over the years a wonderful estate, where the vineyards of Aglianico, Fiano, Greco and Falanghina coexist with fruit trees, olive groves and woods. An astonishing scenario observable along the path that connects the main house to the cellar.
