We are a startup from the district of Osnabrück that has put the prediction and management of sales opportunities on a scientific basis. Our interdisciplinary team believes that using an AI-based prediction model in complex B2B sales offers a decisive competitive advantage for many companies. With our Add-On for predicting and managing sales opportunities, we have developed a practical sales solution based on a close relationship between the disciplines of Psychology, Cognitive Science and Computer Science. To increase the accuracy of sales predictions, the relevant success factors must be known. The “Sales Forecast 4.0” study has been the first empirical research to identify these success factors and develop a short psychometric questionnaire for complex B2B sales. The questionnaire provides a 360° view of the sales situation and serves as a qualitative data basis for an AI-based forecasting model. With each response to the questionnaire the salesperson receives all the necessary information to close the deals faster. Based on the rated success factors, the sales team can manage the sales process in a targeted manner. In addition, success factors provide an overview of the problem areas of each sales opportunity. The prediction history shows where the probability of success increases, the sales process stagnates, or the deal might start to fail. In addition, the solution provides the salespersons with the most promising sales activities.
