Francois Heon Consulting

François pursues his passion for developing leaders and teams by working with partners of various sectors in Quebec and throughout the world. Specializing in organizational development, François worked as a consultant on institutional change projects in Romania (1991) and Burundi (1994-1996). At this time he also began an ongoing collaboration co-facilitating international leadership programs with Organisational Behaviour Development in Belgium. Returning to Canada in 1996, François took on new challenges, namely, the development and management of alternative community support services for psychiatric patients. This experience inspired François’ talent and passion for counselling individuals. Yearning to return to the field of consulting with his management and clinical experience, he assumed leadership of Adecco Canada’s new consulting division, the House of Leaders, in 2002. Three years later, he cofounded Esse Leadership, offering innovative leadership services in various sectors. He has recently joined Alia Consulting in Quebec as head of its Organizational Health and Leadership practice. François completed his Master’s degree in industrial/organisational psychology at the University of Waterloo in Ontario in 1990 and pursued his Ph.D. coursework in organisational behavior at Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland, Ohio. He also has pursued clinical training at McGill’s Allen Memorial Institute.
