Free Food Project

It is the mission of the Free Food Project to help to bring a positive change to the way that people think of, buy, produce and consume food in the community. To do this we will: Educate others on the best ways to identify and use the resources available to them to produce their own food through forums, workshops, traditional and social media. Build a network of smaller scale, low impact producers that will be able to supply surplus food to existing charitable distribution such as food banks, shelters and social clubs. Help seniors, lower income families and persons with disabilities grow their own gardens. Build a network of volunteers eager to help others grow food and make a positive change in their community.
