Genesis Energy Development

In 2016, we started Genesis Energy Development (GED) in Lusaka, Zambia with an aspiration to protect homeowners from inconsistent access to electricity, whilst contributing to diversification of the country’s power generation mix via renewable energy. We approach this aspiration by leveraging our strategic global business alliances to provide the most economic and innovative sustainable energy solutions for ‘off-the-grid’ communities. Solar energy is our near-term focus; we intend to expand further in mid to long-term. We have a vision of an African continent which leverages the significant progress in global technological advancement to leapfrog into the era of clean energy. We believe Africa has a unique opportunity to replace an Industrial Revolution with a Green Revolution.
