Our MISSION is to advance and promote knowledge of the genetic basis of infections and contribute to the development of individualized strategies for their prevention and treatment. At GENVIP we use "state-of-the-art" analysis techniques in molecular genomics and cell biology (“omics”). Through a holistic approach and analysis of genomes, transcriptomes, epigenome, and comprehensive biology (cell culture, gene editing), GENVIP research focuses on the biological basis of infections, with a disruptive and innovative path: the host approach. GENVIP aims to strength knowledge and understanding of the molecular basis of infectious to design solutions for the clinical practice.
