Let's Be Creative! Erica Gillette Owner of Gillette Art Studio LLC I fell in love with art at an early age. It frees and relaxes me, by allowing me to focus on only my creations! I received my Bachelors of Fine Art in Printmaking from Arizona State University. My favorite professor, Mary Hood taught me to believe in myself and that art could take me places. I studied Printmaking in London and Scotland with Professor Hood and faced many fears there! Art is my safe place and if “In the beginning, God created…” I know creativity is healing for the soul! I enjoy printmaking and my favorite techniques are Intaglio, Relief, Silkscreen, and Book/Paper Making. Abstract art is my new favorite because it is freeing and I get to keep every marking, mistakes and all! I don’t have any expectations and I just want to get away from painting realistically! I want to create something new. I host Art In The Park painting classes at local state parks in Arizona. Let’s Be Creative!
