Our Craftsmanship Selecting only the softest skins; less than 10% are hand-selected by our founder personally. Six month’s of research is required to ensure the colour and finish is unique and perfectly balanced. We also work with exotic skins and other premium leathers on request. Cutting Our leathers are still cut by hand; the specialist cutter has an exacting eye for detail. Before being cut with a scalpel each skin is laid out under bright lights so that the cutter can evaluate the best position for the pattern placement. Only then will cutting begin. Hardware Our iconic diamond cut hardware combines an eye for the finest detail and craftsmanship. Handcrafted in Florence to jewellery standards, each piece is crafted on a lathe in solid brass and finished in Pewter. Finishing gives pewter its luster. Master Pewterer’s burnish each piece, then use a rapidly rotating buff, made of pieces of leather hide combined with a finely ground abrasive polishing powder.
