Globus Et Locus

The Globus et Locus Association was created in 1997 for the purpose of promoting the analysis of glocal issues arising from the interaction between the global and the local. It is a forum for translating reflections on such phenomena into studies and strategic action. The Association acts as both a research body and a planning entity, contributing to the activities of its members and of the other national and international institutions with which it collaborates. These goals have shaped the nature of membership in Globus et Locus. At the local level, Globus et Locus includes representatives from Italy and Switzerland, while at the global level it welcomes collaboration and partnership with international agencies, institutions, and research centers. Globus et Locus’s actions and studies focus on three main issues, namely the impact of globalization on- governance and global institutions - peoples and global civil society - the value system and political culture relevant glocal actors
