Good Food Talks
Good Food Talks is an award-winning web app which allows the UK’s two million visually impaired people to access restaurant menus independently, quickly and easily, either in restaurants, out and about or at home. It utilises accessibility features already built into most smartphones such as text-to-speech readers, meaning customers can listen to menus or have them appear in the best way to be read easily. It also has variable fonts and colours that make the menu easier to read for the estimated 10% of people who have some form of dyslexia. Customers don’t need to download or install anything and it works on all models of smartphone and tablet.
