In mid-1997, pastors from different denominations in Taiwan received a new vision of using TV media for missions; people can hear the gospel when they turn on the TV, so that the gospel can reach everyone's home without hindrance. In September 1998, God fulfilled this vision. GOOD TV was launched in Taiwan. We announced to the public that GOOD TV is the first Christian satellite TV station in the Chinese region and a family channel that focuses on family values, to spread the faith of Christ, Hope and true love. In 2007, God raised up a group of pastors in L.A. that established GOOD TV USA to spread our vision for media evangelism. Churches in Houston, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Hawaii also polled funds to buy time on local stations to broadcast evangelistic programs provided by Taiwan. God gave Pastor Robert Chou to see that there are many other needs and visions in different ministries in the preaching of the gospel among the Chinese. Therefore, in 2018, the mission of GOOD TV USA Chief Executive was assigned to Pastor David Yu.
