In common with countless other people, we’ve been harbouring a growing concern in recent times for the impact that our collective way of life is having on the environment on which we depend. Perhaps we are not as bad as some nations but on average in the UK, each of us consumes nearly three times the average “Earthshare” of the planet’s resources. This means that we are using up resources three times faster than the Earth can replace them. Clearly this is not sustainable in the long term and the longer we continue on our present course, the fewer precious resources, habitats and animal species there will be to for subsequent generations to inherit. A re-NEW-able pathWe appreciate that it is not practical to suddenly change our lives to become non-polluting and carbon neutral but we can make a start along that route and most significantly, in a way that is actually financially beneficial to us. Our purpose for GrEnergy is to provide our customers with the information, equipment and after sales support to be able to heat their homes, hot water and provide electricity in a sustainable and economical way, to increase the value and appeal of their properties and at the same time to reduce their carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels. In doing so, we aspire to maintain a healthier environmental legacy for our children and their descendants to enjoy.
