H&k Gourmet
H&K Gourmet is a hyper-focused gourmet spice company that aims to simplify the way that people cook while bringing a decadent influence to ordinary meals. Each product we create has a story and purpose, setting us apart from other spice companies. In 2012, Hogan Popkess and Kyler Emert founded H&K Gourmet in a Kansas garage to share their passion for premium Midwest barbecue. The company’s first sales were at their high school graduation party with friends and family. As a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Hogan has the experience and knowledge of blending flavors to create a truly one-of-a-kind experience that elevates any meal to new levels. Paired with Kyler's multiple business degrees, strategic direction, and dedication to perfection, the formation of H&K Gourmet was natural. H&K welcomed Nick Newcomb to the team in 2015 as the Head of Research and Development. Also a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, Nick is the creative engine behind the future of H&K Gourmet. He also manages our Southwest distribution in California. Thank you to all of our loyal customers and those who trust us to bring you a gourmet twist to every meal.
