Hakizetu Organization

Hakizetu Organization is registered as a non-governmental organization, came in to operate since 2015 and legal registered in 2016 to operate in Tanzania mainland. Currently Hakizetu’s interventions focus within Lake and Central Zone, and Northern regions of Tanzania mainland. Hakizetu is working on preventing gender-based violence against young women and girls focusing on preventing different types of violence like sexual, physical, emotional, economic, psychological and dating-related violence, Promoting women and young people rights including accessibility of quality and safe sexual and reproductive health rights services and information. Empowering economically different vulnerable groups of young women and youth and supporting most vulnerable children and their families with basic needs, like scholastics materials, health insurance and means of income generation.
