Healthy Early Years

The Healthy Early Years (HEY) clinic is a nonprofit training facility that offers low-cost family, couples, and child therapy. HEY is a counselor training facility operated by the Center for Excellence in Early Development (CEED) and San Diego State University, Department of Child and Family Development. Services are provided by advanced graduate student clinicians from San Diego State University and interns who are completing their hours for licensure. All counseling sessions are supervised by licensed mental health clinicians. The clinic provides treatment from a relationship-based approach that recognizes the crucial role of parents and caregivers in early attachment relationships and healthy developmental trajectories.
