Welcome to Help Harry Help Others - a campaign started by the incredibly brave Harry Moseley. Whilst battling an inoperable brain tumour himself, Harry was inspired to make a difference to all people with brain cancer when a friend of his who also had a brain tumour became very ill. Sadly Harry’s health took a sudden turn for the worse following brain surgery in August 2011 and after 14 weeks in a coma Harry passed away in his Mother’s arms peacefully at home on 8th October 2011. We really hope that you can all take the time to read Harry’s full story in his own words and read all about the inspiration behind this Charity: “Hi my name is Harry, I am 11 years old and I have an inoperable brain tumour. When a very close friend of mine became very ill in 2009 because of his brain tumour I set up ‘helpharryhelpothers’. I started my campaign by making beaded bracelets to sell in shops and businesses in the hope that people would support me and donate enough money for brain cancer research so that in return I could help get my special friend better. Robert was my inspiration and although he sadly died just after I started my campaign, I am determined to continue in his memory to help find a cure for this horrible illness so that no one has to go through what I have.” Help Harry Help Others is now a registered charity and like Harry always said about his bracelets is “hand made with love for all people with brain cancer”.
