At HFX, we believe that true security is achieved only when people enjoy the benefits of democracy, leading in turn to economic opportunity and lasting peace. Since 2009, HFX promotes greater understanding, builds trust and deepens ties through its unique and diverse international programming including the annual Halifax International Security Forum, Peace With Women Fellowship, 15@15: Youth Building Democracy, John McCain Prize for Leadership in Public Service,#StandTogetherOnChina, and HFX Conversations.
