The principals at Hire Retirees have been hearing the frustrations from both sides: from employers who say there is a skills gap in the workforce, that they can't find employees with the right abilities to fill all of their open positions. And from older workers who have retired too soon, who still want to work, but can't find jobs suited to their level of professional experience. In other words, there is also a gap in the staffing industry: between employers and a largely untapped, highly valuable talent pool. Hire Retirees was created to bridge that gap. Hire Retirees was also created to be a different kind of employment agency. We don't advertise jobs. We match people with opportunities.
