HLO is designing software and hardware to enhance users experience in the ever­-growing electronic instruments market. The company know­-how is built upon ten years of r&d by the belgian award­-winning collective of musicians and programmers called Herrmutt Lobby. Breaking up from the current status­-quo in the electronic music scene, we focus our efforts towards a systemic approach, instant interpretation and expressivity enhancement. In that setup, musicians and instruments influence each others in real time. Playground, our new iOS app for iPhone and iPad ­ to be launched in the first quarter of 2016 is a new way to consume and experience the music of diverse artists from around the globe. The user becomes the interpret of the song and that experience deeply connects him to the artist’s universe. Playground’s algorithms use real­time rhythmic and melodic adjustments that “guide” users through an harmonious musical path. Our professional line of instruments, currently under development, will be available late 2016. These instruments are targeted at the global electronic music scene in constant search of a rewarding live stage experience.
